ACE Salt Cell Compatibility Checker

ACE Salt Cell Compatibility Checker

Find the right salt cell for your Hot Spring or Limelight spa in three selections: brand, model, and model year. Based on the official ACE equipment list for each spa line.

Choose your spa brand, model, and model year, then select Check compatibility.

This checker reflects the ACE equipment list published for Hot Spring and Limelight collections (model years roughly 2004–2021). Always confirm against your spa’s serial plate or owner’s manual before ordering parts.

How to find your spa’s model and year

  • Serial plate: most Hot Spring and Limelight spas carry a plate inside the equipment bay door or on the cabinet exterior, listing the model name and a serial number that encodes the manufacture year.
  • Owner’s manual: the cover page and specifications section usually state the collection (Highlife, Highlife NXT, or Limelight) and model.
  • Dealer lookup: any Hot Spring dealer can decode your serial number and confirm the model year and whether the spa was ordered with the ACE option.

What the result means

One part covers every ACE-equipped spa: the salt cell that Hot Spring lists as part number 76078. Whether you have a Grandee, a Jetsetter NXT, or a Limelight Glow, the replacement cell is the same – which is why confirming your model mostly matters for verifying that your spa actually has the ACE system rather than another sanitizing option.

Spas from 2004–2008 were equipped through the ACE retrofit kit (part 76298) instead of the factory-integrated assembly, but the replacement cell is still the same 76078 part.

Frequently asked questions

Do different Hot Spring models need different ACE cells?

No. Every ACE-equipped Hot Spring and Limelight model uses the same replacement cell, listed as part 76078. The model check exists to confirm your spa is in the ACE-equipped range, not to pick a different part.

My spa is older than 2009. Can it still use this cell?

Hot Spring spas from 2004–2008 were equipped with the ACE system through a retrofit kit (76298). The replacement cell is the same 76078 part. For spas older than 2004, verify what sanitizing system is installed before ordering any parts.

How do I know if my spa has the ACE system at all?

ACE was an option, not standard equipment. The control panel on ACE-equipped spas shows ACE output settings and maintenance reminders. Your dealer can also confirm from the serial number.

Is this checker official?

No. It reflects the ACE equipment list published for Hot Spring and Limelight collections. Always confirm against your spa’s serial plate, owner’s manual, or dealer before ordering.
